Sunday 14 April 2024

This is Challenge #131 – hosted by Aimes - and, as always, is an Anything Goes Challenge, as long as either a CD, USB or digital download - or any combination thereof – has been used in the making of your project.  Please, please remember to state the source.    Also please remember that only 3 entries per challenge are permitted.

The Easter holiday is now over, the weather is a little warmer but as it is still officially Spring, we are looking forward perhaps to some Spring themed cards/projects.   Perhaps lots of flowers, which are always favourite.  The Design Team have made a few for your delectation.

As always we show you the winners of a previous challenge before showing our Design Team cards for this current challenge.  The winners of #129 – chosen by Margaret,  are as follows:

  1st- No: 9 - Yvonne

I thought this was a super card for Easter.  As usual Yvonne does a lot of work on her cards not only back and front,  all the elements she uses and the shaping of her cards,

  2nd No: 17 - Mandy

I loved this card,  I have put both front and inside pictures of this card.    Not only did Mandy shape her card but the inside was actually brilliant.  I do hope her Mother loved her card.  This card would have taken a few hours to make and really worth the effort put into it.

  3rd No: 13 - Aunty Sue

I also did love this card.    The colouring and the way all the colours flow together.  Lovely image  with the bear holding the flower.  This is the sort of card I like.

Margaret has asked me to say that there were a lot to chose from -   they are all winners and the cards entered were of a high standard.  Thank you  all those who entered.

Congratulations to our winners and please don’t forget to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.

Jocelyn will be presenting her winners for Challenge #130 next time.

Now here are the cards for the new challenge starting with Aimes, who is our hostess:

The team would like to wish you all a Happy Easter on this Easter Sunday.  Some celebrate Easter and some don’t, but whatever you are doing, we do hope you are having a restful and enjoyable time.

As always we show you the winners of a previous challenge before showing our Design Team cards for this current challenge.  The winners of #128 – chosen by Jo are as follows:

  1st No:  8 - Yvonne

This is such a clever creation with lots of lovely detail.  I love that it folds flat too.  So much work has gone into this and I love it!

 2nd No:17 - Lesley

I loved both Lesley's entries and it was difficult to pick a favourite of the 2, but I've always had a soft spot for Teddy Bo, and Lesley's coloured him so beautifully.  I also love the layout of the card.

 3rd No:24 - Linby

This is such a pretty card.  I love Pollyanna's artwork and Linby has really done it justice here, the layering and the flowers are so lovely.  The soft, gentle colours are gorgeous.

Congratulations to our winners and please don’t forget to grab the appropriate banner from the side bar.

We hope all are well.  Our next Challenge will be on Easter Sunday, so that if you are doing anything special or exciting for Easter we hope that all plans play out perfectly. Personally, Easter is going to be a bit boring for me, since my discovery that Chocolate doesn’t suit me. But don’t let me stop you from enjoying yours!
